Logging in The Williams Mountains in Williams, Oregon

I got to fly up by a award winning logging site and was shown how sensible logging practices are good for the forest. Part of the video was shot at a summit approximately 3000 feet elevation.

To get up to the site we had to drive on “roads” that were scary for me in a 4 wheel drive truck and I saw huge 18 wheel trucks driving down these same roads fully loaded. Hats off and big time kudos to the men and women who do this work way up in the middle of nowhere. You folks are unsung heroes indeed.
